If your display setup is different, you need to edit the xmobar and stalonetray configurations provided, probably just to adjust the geometry of the bars for your resolution. An example would be if you're using xmonad-config on a laptop with a lower resolution screen.
Sorry about that, I have a fix for this bug, but forgot to merge it in.
The fix is now in the master branch, but your chroot has been damaged (it should be recoverable though).
However when updating , the chroot updates libpcre and incurs the same problem. Although for some reason xmobar does not work in that chroot either.
If anything I will just install a new chroot, and dump my home folder into the new one.
I'm not sure why you have a i686 chroot instead of a x86_64 chroot, is it an intentional choice?
Can you double-check by posting the output of: Thank You for the fast response.
Note: You may need to choose "Custom xsession" or similar at the login screen. You may need to have some basic understanding of Haskell in order to modify this file, but most people have no problems. Colors set in the xmobar config and dmenu script are meant to coincide with the IR_Black terminal and vim themes.
xmonad-config is pre-configured to work on one of two display setups.
Has anything changed since others releases about this? Xdefaults I can't believe how many of us missed that.
